Throughout the entire process, we were impressed with Bill’s professionalism and performance. He was easy to work with in booking the wedding and understanding our needs. He put together an affordable package of services and products that were exactly what we were looking for. In preparation for filming, he arrived early for the rehearsal and stayed afterwards to get a sense of the location, recognize elements that would contribute to a better video and identify ideal positions for the placement of the cameras. For what was a smaller ceremony with limited events, Bill made sure he captured everything that made the weekend special, the entire rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, the bridal brunch, the men’s outing, the ceremony and the reception. He took the time to interview the majority of our guests and capture a few sentiments from each, which was especially appreciated. From the hours of footage he captured, Bill composed a wonderful video. He reflected the tone and emotion of each event and integrated a personally significant set of songs. He worked with us every step of the way, inquiring about songs to use and our preferences for certain clips. We especially enjoyed the visual effects throughout the video, which really added to the professional quality. There were many moments and “behind the scenes” events that Bill captured that we would have missed in all the hustle and activity of the weekend. The video has brought tears to many who have seen it because it captured the events so well and with such style and class. We have watched it ourselves multiple times and, each time, it has brought us back to that wonderful weekend and made us as happy as we were then. Bill captured the life of the ceremony and the emotion of the loved ones we invited. Because of Bill’s outstanding work, we will have a timeless record of these memories for years to come, one that we can share with family and friends that were not able to come to the ceremony and future children, nieces and nephews. I highly recommend Bill’s work and thank him for the exceptional job he did in capturing the most special day of our lives. Sam and Patrick |

When I heard that my son was going to have one of his friends use his VHS video camera to capture parts of the wedding ceremony and reception, I contacted a business associate who had been using a professional videographer for her marketing activities. That was the best money anyone could have spent on our son and his fiancee's most special wedding day. As the commercial says: "Priceless!" It is so true that the wedding day's activities pass so fast that many wonderful moments become a blur. In addition to still photography, a video allows the happy couple and their families to relive memories for years and years to come - the wedding messages, the music, the ring "tinging" on the tiled floor during the ceremony, people's voices, the emotion all come alive again on video and DVD. Bill Brock, of White Rock Films, LLC, did an outstanding job in capturing the bride's and groom's pre-wedding activities, the ceremony, and the reception highlights in a way that brought you back to that special day. Mr. Brock's professionalism was evident as he was very respectful of the spiritual space in which he was filming, as well as his coordination with the wedding photographer. The accompanying slideshow, providing memories of the couple's engagement and honeymoon, was icing on the cake. Bottom line: As you plan your "big day" and are looking for ways to cut the budget - above all else, do not sacrifice the videographer - especially someone as affordable and professional as Bill Brock. Bill did an awesome job. He was on time for both the rehearsal and the wedding day. His attitude and how he dealt with people was very impressive. However, what I want to rave about is the video! He did a fantastic job with the editing, capturing not only all the special moments but also other small romantic scenes when we were all unaware. I invited a bunch of friends and when they saw the video, they were speechless. I would nominate Bill as the videographer of the year but I really don't have to say much because his work speaks for itself. Thank you so much Bill for capturing the best day in my life with style, class, and giving me a DVD that makes me feel like a movie star! Lucy Sennes |
It is worth the time and expense to arrange for a wedding video. A lot of people say that they won't watch the video. I think people are used to amateur-quality (at best), homemade videos. Those can be tiresome to watch if they have not been edited in a way that captures the best moments. Poor lighting and sound quality can be distracting, too. My husband was skeptical about the value of getting a video since we had an excellent photographer. He was also concerned about the video cameras (in addition to the photographer's) making people feel "on the spot" and uncomfortable. These are valid concerns, I think. But all in all, we had a good experience with Bill as he did a fine job of making the most of those people who would talk on tape and editing the product in such a way as to create a kind of theme among people's comments and the sights and sounds of the day. We helped him select the music we like, and he matched the music with the scenes, and I think he did that nicely. My husband said that the video featured a perspective and people he missed seeing during the "blur" of the wedding day. We watched the video during Christmas with my parents, and my husband was so glad that we got it. In terms of comparing videography to photography, I wouldn't make a comparison. Video captures aspects of the wedding that photography alone cannot -- and vice versa. In regard to what was missed in the photography, I believe because of the restrictions to movement in the church sanctuary during the ceremony, my photographer could not/did not capture my good friend and reader during the ceremony. However, Bill was able to record her entire reading on video. I am so thankful for that as I have a wonderful memory of a friend doing an incredible job. Video is almost essential in terms of establishing memories and passing these along to others. It's especially nice for relatives, friends, and even future children, who could not come to the wedding. For example, my aunt could not come to the wedding, but we sent her a video, and now she has her brother's daughter's wedding on tape as a nice family keepsake. My husband and I will treasure our copy for years to come. Lori Darter |
Everything was great!!! The music was perfect and the effects looked soooo good. My favorite part was the end when you used the song by XXXXX. I was singing the song for days. Everyone who watched it cried when Daniel spoke of his mother....tender moment. And they laughed like crazy when they watched everyone trying to do the Cha-Cha slide. Sarah M. Leal-Mendez |
I was torn as to whether to invest in a photographer and a videographer but am so glad I did both. So torn in fact, that I didn't decide on going with a videographer until just three weeks before the wedding. But Bill picked up and worked with us seamlessly, as if we had been planning together for months. The photos and the video provide very different but perfectly complementary looks at our special day, but I must say, it is the video I look at even more often than the photos. Bill did an outstanding job of listening to what we wanted to capture and tailoring our video to our requests. He worked so well without being intrusive and was very personable, putting everyone at ease. He even captured many things when I wasn't aware he was there - and those were some of the best moments. Bill did an outstanding job of capturing the essence of our personalities and the feeling of our day with very high quality footage, excellent editing and a real feel for what would make our video have those special touches. I never tire of watching our video and find some new special element or memory each time I do. Even better, someday our grandchildren will be able to not just imagine - but see the way it really was for us on our wedding day. I would love to have that same kind of access to my parents and grandparents wedding. It's truly priceless. Coco Good |
